The Mark VI was the first Bentley with factory bodies, it was the first time, Bentley offered
complete cars. The Mark VI succeeded the pre-war Mark V, which was a evolutionary version of the Bentley 4.25Litre.
The Mark VI was replaced by the Bentley R-Type in 1952, a further improved version.
The Bentley Mark VI was related to the Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn and Silver Wraith.
