This is the first model built bei Bentley. W.O. Bentley wanted to realise a true british sports car.
The Speed model used a tuned engine with 10 more horsepower and was always sitting on the short wheelbase chassis.
With the 3-Litre Bentley won the 24Hours of Lemans 1923, 1927, 1928, 1929 and 1930.
This Bentley 3-Litre was built in 1923 as a normal 3-Litre model, but crashed in 1926. Then it wa rebuilt as
a supercharged model, finished in 1927.
