After World War II The Auto Union was part of eastern Germany,
controlled by the Soviet Union. Therefore Josef Stalin's communist party
had taken control of Auto Union. On the request of the communist party Auto Union
built 2 (?) formula race cars in 1952. It was planned to use them at the Formula 1
races, but that never happened.
