Austro-Daimler was an Austrian automaker company, from 1899 until 1934.
It was subsidiary of the German Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft. In 1934
it merged with the Steyr Automobile, creating the Steyr-Daimler-Puch conglomerate.

The Austro-Daimler ADS-R "Sascha" was named after Count Alexander "Sascha" Kolowrat.
He spend money for this project, which was developed by Ferdinand Porsche.
It was a light and compact racecar, and a very successful, too.
