The Audi Rosemeyer is a concept car built to remember at Bernd Rosemeyer, who
died during the attempt to reach the highest speed on a German Autobahn in 1937.
He was a famous race driver in Germany, driving cars like the Auto Union Typ C.
Therefore the Audi Rosemeyer looks a bit like the Auto Union Typ C.
Like the Typ C the Rosemeyer features a 16-cylinder engine, too. Pictures taken in 2009 in the "museum mobile" in Ingolstadt, Germany.
Pictures are used by courtesy of the "museum mobile". |
