The Typ C was the third model made by Audi (after Typ A and Typ B). In the years 1912-1914 it won
the "österreichische Alpenfahrt" (a race in the alps) several times, and since then,
the car is called "Alpensieger" (=winner in the alps).
The car on the pictures was built in 1919.
