The Alfa Romeo 8C-Series was developed from the 6C-Models. "8C" stands for 8-cylinder.
The 8C 2300 was built between 1931 and 1934 and succeded by the 8C 2900 (1935-1939).
Some 8C 2300 engines were bored to 2600ci displacement in 1933 by the Scuderia Ferrari.
Around 10 engines were converted in 1933, another 10 later.
